Back-to-School Drive

Each year, the Guyana United Youth Development Association (GUYDA) organizes a Back-to-School Drive to help children and families prepare for the new school year. Through this project, we provide backpacks and essential school supplies to students in need, helping to ease the financial burden on families and support children on their educational journey.

Our current fundraising goal is $3,000, which will go directly toward purchasing backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, and other basic school supplies. Every contribution makes a difference, and we encourage supporters to give any donation amount to help us reach our goal.

The distribution for this year’s drive will take place on September 13. With the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, GUYDA continues to invest in the future of our youth by making sure students start the school year equipped and encouraged.
